One of the most notable features of Perimetry is its ability to perform different test protocols, including SITA-Standard and SITA Fast. SITA-Standard and SITA Fast are faster test protocols that use an adaptive algorithm to adjust the testing time based on the patient's response. SITA-Standard is the most commonly used protocol.

The choice of test protocol depends on the patient's condition and the purpose of the test.

It is beneficial for detecting moderate to advanced visual field defects in patients with glaucoma and other optic nerve diseases. 10-2 is a slower test protocol that tests 68 points in the central visual field and is useful for detecting more subtle changes in the visual field in patients with diseases such as macular degeneration and retinitis pigmentosa.
